Martin Kappeyne is the Principal at Green Leaves LLC and has specialized in assisting larger hospitals and groups select, negotiate, configure, and implement enterprise applications with a particular emphasis on emergency medicine, radiology, and cardiology (EDIS, PACS, CPACS, RIS, CVIS, Dictation) and general workflow adaptation using LEAN methodologies. 

In addition to working with a given application, he collaborates with teams to implement many different aspects of an integration project. The clinical workflows are reviewed with and adapted by doctors, nurses, and administrators in order to maximize the strengths of the new application. Martin reviews the system configuration for security and regulatory compliance. He also consults with the IT and facilities teams to implement the required infrastructure. He establishes metrics to allow for quality and safety initiatives as well as financial reporting. Under his guidance, interfaces to existing applications using HL7 and Dicom protocols are delineated, built, and tested following enterprise guidelines and change control policies.

Being able to talk with physicians, administrators, technologists, and IT, as well as his broad healthcare experience, allows Martin to create collaborative teams and achieve timely implementations.
